Area plan for Pappen officially adopted by Sarpsborg City Council!

After six years of planning and development, the area plan for Pappen has now been unanimously adopted by Sarpsborg City Council.

This marks an important milestone for the transformation of the former industrial area into a new urban district. Covering 69 acres, the development will provide approximately 700 new homes for up to 2.000 future residents, alongside 14.500 m² of office and commercial space and 12.500 m² dedicated to city-centre functions.

An important aspect of the project has been the preservation of several key buildings, which will continue to form the heart and identity of the new district.

A big thank you to everyone involved throughout the process. We would like to thank our client, Pappen Utvikling AS, represented by Betongbygg Eiendom, as well as our friends and collaborators from Add arkitekter and Dronninga Landskap!

We look much forward to the next phase and to seeing Pappen become a new neighbourhood for Sarpsborg!
