JAJA is Exploring the Future of Tørning Mølle

Tørning Mølle is a beautiful gem in Southern Jutland that deserves more than a passing glance – it is a place worth visiting!

We are very excited to be working with Haderslev Kommune, ORANGE Elevator, and Rambøll with the goal of making Tørning Mølle a vibrant centre for nature and culture.

Over the coming months, we will investigate the historic mill’s role in the local community, and how our interaction with nature can be communicated in ways that engage and inspire both locals and visitors.

The work also includes exploring opportunities for transformation, access and public engagement, while revealing the site’s hidden historical layers, including castle ruins and fortifications. Together, these efforts will help highlight the contrasts between culture and nature that define the beautiful area.
