Konditaget Lüders selected as a finalist in the Danish Design Award

We are pleased to announce that Konditaget Lüders has been selected as a finalist in the 2020 Danish Design Award. The parking house and playground is nominated in the ‘Livable Cities’ category – a design award for design-driven solutions that humanize and simplify life in cities. The award goes to those who have demonstrated a significant contribution to improved welfare, well-being or opportunities for urban residents, which at the same time has a positive effect on the city’s environment and ecology.

Danish Design Award is held by Danish Design Center and Design denmark, and the finalists have been selected by a jury.

This is the first time we see a parking garage come alive. The living roof has been incorporated into the building in a very intelligent way, allowing people to play and exercise while at the same time accessing a view that one usually has to pay for, states the Danish Design Award Jury

The winners will be revealed on June 2.

Konditaget Luders is owned by By & Havn and made in collaboration with Totalentreprenør 5e byg, Søren Jensen Engineers, LOA, DGI, and Rama Studio.
