Gasoline Grill

Inspired by the location, the Façade of the Gasoline Grill transforms for passing trains and people. The ‘drive by’ experience utilizes the lenticular method, which from a moving point of view, renders a shape-shifting animation.

A two-dimensional graphic print is superimposed on a three-dimensional folded, sheet metal façade. The two elements combine to allow a visual experience that, when seen from one angle, appears as green text on a white background. As the viewer passes by, it gradually inverts to become white text on green background.
