Social timber: We won the new extension to a beautiful observation home in Bagsværd

We are happy to announce, that we together with Bogl and AB Clausen won the competition regarding an extension and renovation of Bagsværd Observation Home.

LIVSVÆRK is the association behind the modernization and renovation of Bagsværd Observation Home. The goal is to make the physical setting of the site provide even better support for the social pedagogical work that the association LIVSVÆRK performs for some of the most vulnerable in Danish society – vulnerable children and their families.

We’re honored to be given the job to design a building with such strong social importance. This combined with the beautiful site and the extension being made of wood makes the project a dream assignment!

The New Bagsværd Observation Home is funded by LIVSVÆRK and supported by Realdania and “Den A.P. Møllerske Støttefond”. The construction is expected to be finished in 2023.
